The entire focus of the Operation Division activities is to support student achievement through planning, building, and maintaining a safe school environment for the schools in the Riverside Unified School District. Operations has a unified philosophy that governs its work; that is to create and maintain the optimum conditions for learning. There are a number of examples of how this is put into practice. Siting schools at appropriate, convenient, and safe locations means students are not committing unnecessary time travelling to and from school. Building well-designed, cost-effective and energy-efficient schools affords our students, staff and community with exceptional schools that are a source of pride for everyone.
